Vivekanandha College of Arts and Sciences for Women has set a milestone in sports and games and brought many laurels to Periyar University as well as to our Institution. Immensely pleased that all through this academic year, our students represented our Institution by participating in various Inter-Collegiate, South Zone Inter University, All India Inter University and National level, State Level and District level sports and games. The students surpassed in all their participations in sports and games and won the admiration of all the spectators. It a great privilege to express my hearty gratitude to our management on behalf of the Physical Education Department, for endowing with free education, free food and accommodation to the sports students. In response, our students have established their flair in their respective field of sports like Kabbadi, Foot Ball, Fencing, Silambam, Badminton, Basket Ball, Kho-Kho to bring glory to our institution.
