CENTRE FOR INSTRUMENTAL LABORATORY
Central instrumentation facility is very essential hub for an institute having excellence in teaching and research. In order to promote research and development among faculty members and students, it is in very urgent need to have a “Centre for Instrumental Laboratory(CIL). Since. Vivekanandha Educational Institutions are having all kinds of equipment’s at its individual campus but centralised instrumentation facility is lacking and it impacts on getting funds from various funding agencies, to make collaborative research projects, to show the strength of R&D to various assessment and accreditation councils. This facility is primarily more useful to uplift the tremendous growth of institutions towards research and innovation. Moreover the facility can be utilized as a revenue generation system cum added credit to VICAS research and development. It will be a boon in all aspects of research and development. Centralised instrumentation facility is the state of the art for an institution having total 27 years of excellence in teaching and research.
Objectives :
- To train personnel in sophisticated instrument use and maintenance
- To make our faculty as an expert in advanced instrument operation
- To conduct hands-on workshop / internship training programme on a particular area
- To make research collaborations in National and International universities / organization
- Consultancy services – to carryout advanced experiments for both internal and external candidates
- Unique research database can be made available as outcome of this facility
- To reference research laboratory in individual discipline
- To create revenue generation through this facility
